Lisy Saavedra - Hair Stylist - S. Tampa Dale Mabry

     Lisy has been doing hair professionaly since 1984, but she was actually cutting family and friends well before that.  " I enjoyed doing hair even before I decided to do it as a career".

     A  licensed master colorist, certified in several Keratin treatments and a guest selected curly hair expert, she is always on the move.

     She will bring her vast experience and knowledge to the collaboration between herself and her guests by helping them feel good about themselves and their look. Always offering ideas and suggestions as well as educating them as to the proper tools, techniques  and products required to duplicate their new look. She enjoys working with coarse and curly hair, managing to straighten or soften the curliest of locks, as well as work with long hair. The majority of her clients, though, come for color or curl solutions. Attending as many trades shows as possible, she is always on the alert for innovative styles and products.

     Specializing in color, and being one of the few stylists in the area to use Framesi, her schedule is quite demanding. She became a Framesi Master Colorist in 2001,  after using her color line of choice for over 15 years.

     " Framesi is a very consistent and beautiful color line that actually conditions the hair as it processes. Its a line that is still produced in Milan, Italy and distributed here in the states. It is one of the few colors that does not contain PPD (a coal derivative) that is commonly found to be the leading factor in dermatitis and allergic reactions".

     She is also certified in several different lines of Keratin treatments; such as, Pravana, GKHair, Coppolla and now Keraluxe. " Keraluxe gives me the most versatility in choosing whether to just soften existing curls, reduce frizz or depending on the hair type, remove from 50% to 95% of the curl.  It is formaldehyde free and has the most pleasant odor. "

     She also has the ability to take care of the curliest of locks, transforming them into soft, shiny and distinct curls.  "Having curly hair myself, I have made it a point to seek out multiple products lines and learn techniques in order to best serve my expanding curly haired clientele. I just attending a OUIDAD class and am looking forward to becoming a certified OUIDAD stylist as well as carry their line of great hair products". 

     " I moved to Salon Lofts to redirect my attention and focus exclusively on my guests.  Coming from a large salon and being able to dedicate my time ,with no outside distractions, is something I look forward to.  I want all my guests to feel like they are not only coming in to do their hair but to attend an event with a friend".
