Hello!  My name is Chris Carpenter.  I have been doing hair for around 20 years, but the past 10 has been focused on doing great hair color (mainly blonde and gray coverage) and formal (wedding) styles, primarily for fine/ thin/ and thinning hair.

Since early 2011, I finally added non-damaging human hair extensions to my menu.  I studied this for several years making sure that this was the best technique out there, as I do with most everything! I use only the best remy hair from Cinderella hair and discussing the advantages and disadvantages of each way to install the hair.

When I began doing hair, I started out on the east side of Columbus. I really learned a lot about doing black "Afro- American" hair. After a year, I had moved up to the Northwest part of Columbus where I have learned to do Asian, Indian, Greek, Hispanic, and many other types of hair.

Over the years, I have tried so many different hair care products.  I have narrowed down my products to what I think are the best out on the market. not only do I see these products, but I use them also. I use Chi's Ionic Deep shine (100% ammonia free and PPD free) hair color. Chi, Iso, Matris and Goldwell perms, Kerafusion by Defabulous keratin treatment, Chi enviro (100% formaldahyde free) smothing treatment using silk and pearl protein (a lot like a Keratin treatment),  Chi's transformation system (Japanesse straightening), and Rusk and Matrix reverse perms, Paul Mitchell's relaxer (for Afro-American hair to smooth the hair), Satin Smooth soy and lavendar wax (that I never double dip in, to make sure it's extra sanitary), Biomega Shampoos and conditioners, Paul Mitchell's Awapuhi Wild Ginger products, Simply Smooth products, Chi products, and recently picked up Kenra styling products.
