Hi there ! My name is Kristin Sheff and I am a graduate of the Aveda Fredric's Institute in Cincinnati and have been an active stylist since 2003. I absolutely LOVE what I do! Some people ask what I prefer between cut and color... and I can honestly say that I love doing both equally. It's great when you can do both. You check out the face shape of the person, look at the tones in their skin, look at their eye color, find out how much maintenance they are willing to do and just dig in! Its fun because you can put the color in the way that they part their hair or if they throw it all over the place then figure out a good pattern to make it really stand out and then cut the haircut to form around the color. I was with Aveda for 7 years and I decided a year and a half ago to branch off and pursue my own career. I named my company "The Hair Sheff". I am the President :) ha! I love every aspect of doing hair, from roundbrushing to dimensional color. I also do extensions. It is a long process but I love the intricate work. I have experience in working in national and local hair and fashion shows. My freelance work varies from weddings and special events to editorial work in 'O' Magazine (Oprah) and 'C' magazine. I love my loyal clients but I also love meeting new people. I can't wait to get new faces in the door!

Before I
started getting my hair done by Kristin, I was rarely noticed in large crowds and often mocked for my rather dull appearance. However, after one session with Kris, I began getting compared to Michelangelo's David. The symmetry in which she sculpts and molds ones hair to face is unparalleled in Franklin County. The entire visit with Kristin was nothing short of orgasmic. As she sheared and colored away on me a gentle tear slid down my face. The tear combined itself with a ray of sunlight reflecting off Kristin's golden gorgeous locks and created a magical rainbow, a rainbow in which leprechauns and unicorns could have danced and sang underneath.
