‘Aesthetics’ is defined as “a set of principles concerned with the nature and appreciation of beauty, especially in art”...and Emily embodies this.
Emily joined the industry in 2008 after a couple years of odd jobs and figuring out what exactly felt fitting for a career as a 20-year-old. Math minded yet also a lifelong art student, drafting for architects seemed perfect...but it was just plugging in numbers into a program. It didn’t engage the senses! Hair had made sense all along...
Emily has a geometric understanding of hair sculpture and utilizes this to easily visualize the end result with an immaculate attention to detail; all-the-while working rhythmically throughout the creative process. Fourteen years later, SCULPT was born! A place to get your haircut that's inclusive to all hair types, textures and lengths, and welcomes clients who are looking for creative and bold OR a bit of subtlety.... and anything in between.

Since Emily started cutting my hair I've never felt better about my due. I think the attention to detail is definitely a stand out but the approach and passion for being the best at her craft is what makes a big difference from the hair cuts I've got in the past. You can tell she knows what she's doing. On top of it she's a very easy person to talk to about anything under the sun. It's great to see her open up Sculpt where she can dedicate more time to her clients and share more of the creative and unique fashion sense she has. -Chuck
Emily has been cutting my hair for well over a year now and she is the best! My haircut always consistently looks great. Her recommendations, even if I am stressed to make a change, look even better than before! She can do it all; however, if you are looking for a awesome men’s fade; give Emily a shout!
Over the years I have found very few hair stylists who could get my hair close to the way I've wanted it, and of those very few I had made them my long time go to people to cut my hair. being satisfied with good enough. Until it wasn't, and I started attempting to style it myself....horrible idea. None of my regular stylists would be able to fix that mess... Then I met Emily, and not only did she fix it, she perfected it. I have never been so satisfied with a hair stylist before and don't know if I'll ever need to anymore. With Emily's personality and skill I actually enjoy going to get my haircut with confidence and comfort, knowing it's going to look better then I would hope, and having a fun time while conversating with emily or enjoying a nap and waking up to a good looking dude in the mirror. Hahaha! Hands down my favorite place to have my haircut and styled. Couldn't recommend anywhere better.
Emily is definitely your go to Barber/Stylist. She is extremely educated in both men and womens haircuts including all different textures of hair as well. I have enjoyed having her as my go to for 8 years now and would highly recommend her to anyone for any type of cut, fade or style and she does badass designs too!! You will not be disappointed, Go see Em :) ❤️
I am a 73 year old… who does not want to look really old!!! have been going to Emily for years!!! Short pixie like cut. Emily is the best… and she does not chastise if I do a little trim in between…
I have been going to Emily for years and couldn't be more grateful for her services. My hair is thick and I don't use a blow-dryer or style it from home, so I need cuts that are cute, but low-maintenance. Before Emily, I couldn't find a stylist who could give me both. Emily's cuts are always flawless and fun, plus they keep looking good as they grow out. Emily is the best!! - Marysa E.
