Shan DeBerry, a licensed cosmetologist, with 25 plus years experience, has committed her talent for educating, guiding, and evaluating the elements that are essential for any individual to embrace nature’s gifts. She has committed her presence in the beauty industry to develop health and beauty best practices using natural hair care methods. Over the years Shan has had the pleasure of working with high profile clients such as Tabitha Brown, Tara Wallace and her products has graced the behind the scenes trailer on the set of Tyler Perry's Studios. Shan specializes in the health of your natural hair, and teaching you how to obtain your natural hair maximum curl and style definition. Providing you with an arsenal of knowledge and products to assist you. Shan’s mission is to promote the well-being of women and men from the inside out. As a Cancer Survivor she has dedicated her career with the passion of formulating and using effective ingredients that are not only safe for her client but also safe for the environment. 

 Shan is the founding owner of PurBella Naturals (PBN) products, a plant-based beauty solution, which was initiated by the teachings of her grandmother at the age of nine years old and confirmed as the answer to the challenges of the beauty industry after her cancer diagnosis in 2011. Since 2012, PBN has crossed borders as an essential ingredient in salons worldwide.  Locally, PurBella’s Naturals’ products are available at the Durham Co-op, Bulldega Durham, and Wegmans stores on the East Coast.
