About

Born and brought up in Southeast Michigan, Shiloh moved to Chicago in 2009 after graduating high school. She worked in the service industry until 2015, when she made the decision to attend cosmetology school. Having always had a distinct interest in all things beauty related, it is no surprise that Shiloh is a natural at her craft.

After receiving her cosmetology license from the Aveda Institute Chicago in 2016, she immediately began an apprenticeship where she worked with many successful, long time stylists who are masters of their trade.  For two years she studied alongside them, learning the ins and outs of what it means to be a great stylist.

Shiloh is passionate about creating looks that are on trend and functional for the individual. She especially loves performing highlight, balayage, precision haircut, and corrective color services.

She prides herself on making sure her clients always feel understood, and knowing the importance of how an individual’s hair can affect their self-esteem. It is her goal that every client leaves her chair feeling beautiful, confident, and happy!

Shiloh is also diligent about continuing education in her trade, and she enthusiastically passes her knowledge for hair styling and proper home care on to her clientele.

I love that it is one on one with Shiloh. We discuss before hand what look I am going for, all of her focus is on me. Other salons have 3-4 people at a time, bouncing back and forth. Shiloh is an artist! I had struggled with finding the perfect brown and had finally given up. I thought it just wasn’t attainable with my hair. She did her magic and I couldn’t believe the balayage was perfect. Since going to her, I am in love with my hair every time!

Came in hoping for a basic color fix and walked out with model hair. After 6+ months of growing my hair out my color was a mess. I saw Shiloh’s Instagram and was drawn to her natural and artistic color skills. She was very responsive to my email inquiries and I felt very comfortable coming in to the space after seeing they were going beyond with sanitation. Critical for me, Shiloh spent time to actively hear my hair goals. She worked her magic and I was thrilled with the results. Her professional and kind demeanor and focus on my happiness were the winning trifecta! -Adriana J.

This was my first visit to any salon in Chicago since COVID, and I was incredibly impressed with how many cleanliness and precautionary measures are in place. Temperature checks, Clorox wipes, and hand sanitizer everywhere, I was immediately at ease. Then my stylist Shiloh got to work and was incredible! My shortish hair had grown to chin length and I needed to brighten up. I got highlights and a substantial trim and style, and it turned out beautifully – exactly what I had imagined! Shiloh listened to everything I wanted and used her expertise to perfectly craft the color and cut. It looks great, and we had a lot of fun chatting while she worked. Overall a really great experience and I’m so glad I went in to see her! -Katie C.
