🌴🌺 Aloha! I’m Kelly Killebrew — a Dual Licensed Master Barber/Cosmetologist, Certified Color Correction Specialist, and proud owner of Throttle Up Barber & Beauty.
Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, I relocated to Jacksonville in 2019 and quickly fell in love with the Beaches community. Today, I’m proud to call Jacksonville home.
I’ve been in the beauty industry since 1999, specializing in advanced color, blonding, color corrections, gray coverage, perms, keratin treatments, and Brazilian Blowouts. With over 26 years behind the chair, my passion is helping clients achieve beautiful, healthy hair while providing a relaxed, one-on-one experience.
When I’m not in the salon, life stays busy! My husband and I are raising four amazing kids, running two small businesses, and caring for a house full of rescue animals—including three dogs and two cats. Between family, business ownership, and pet adventures, I understand how valuable it is to have hair that looks great and fit into a busy lifestyle.
At Throttle Up Barber & Beauty, our values extend beyond great hair. We are proud to be a PETA-certified salon and are committed to supporting cruelty-free beauty. We strongly believe that no animal should ever be harmed for the sake of beauty, which is why we carefully choose products and brands that align with our commitment to ethical, compassionate practices.

I had tried bleaching it out myself and had damaged it completely. From the first appointment she made me feel so comfortable and has completely transformed my hair.
