 I am Suite 22 Owner Amber Martin and Welcome to Purpose by Design Hair Studio, where beauty, confidence, and purpose come together.

I’m a licensed hairstylist who has been proudly serving clients since 2014. Hair has always been more than just a career for me—it is a true passion and a gift that I believe God has given me to use to encourage, serve, and help others feel confident in who they are.

I specialize in natural hair and healthy hair care, with my main focus being helping each client achieve beautiful, healthy, manageable hair. While I am skilled in creating and mastering a variety of styles, I believe that beautiful hair begins with a healthy foundation. My goal is not simply to create a beautiful style, but to educate, nurture, and help you develop a healthy relationship with your hair.

Purpose by Design was created from the belief that there is purpose behind everything God places in our hands. Just as God uniquely designed each of us, I believe your hair journey should be personalized to you—your needs, your goals, and your lifestyle.

My mission is to create a welcoming salon experience where you can feel seen, valued, beautiful, and empowered while receiving quality hair care in a peaceful and uplifting environment.
