BD Braids

BD braids specialists have a passion for hairstyling that began at a young age. From intricate cornrows to stunning box braids and every style in between. BD specialists’ hands are known to weave not just hair, but a sense of individuality and culture into every client’s look.

We were born and raised in West Africa and have been exposed to different hair textures and cultures from an early age, which fueled our desire to master the art of braiding. 

We have both began experimenting with braids on family members, and by our teenage years, have built a loyal clientele among friends, family, and acquaintances.

Our ability to blend traditional African braiding techniques with modern styles caught the attention of our entourage very early. Thus, leading us to have worked with countless individuals, from everyday clients to the brave women of our beloved Armed Forces since 1998, throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia; when one of us served in the United States Air Force.

We are particularly known for our skills in creating protective styles that maintain hair health while offering versatility and beauty.

Our years of experience and dedication to the art of beauty led us to the creation of BD braids where beauty is celebrated and the satisfaction and positive experience of our customers throughout the braiding process is our number one goal.
