Thirteen years at Frank Gironda. Ten years at Marek Ashley. A whole lot of hair, color, laughs, learning, and beautiful people along the way.

I started my career at Frank Gironda, where I spent 13 years finding my voice as a stylist and building the foundation for everything I do today. Early in my career, I packed my bags for New York City to become Redken certified — one of many experiences that pushed me creatively and helped shape the stylist I would become.

My next chapter took me to Marek Ashley, where I spent 10 incredible years expanding my craft, learning a new color line with Wella, and building relationships I’ll always treasure.

And now… here we go. Welcome to CARLISPECIAL Suite Dos.

Creating my own space gives me the chance to bring together everything I love about being behind the chair: creativity, connection, great conversation, and an environment where you can settle in and feel completely comfortable.

For me, doing hair has never felt like just a job. Being behind the chair is my happy place. I like to think of it as art class every day — except my canvas has hair.
