So right around now marks my 3 year anniversary of David L. Hensley rescuing my hair! I was hopeless before his magic fingers got ahold of my broken, over-processed & otherwise lackluster blonde do. I came to him with hair that wouldn't grow, broke off from years of the wrong stylists bleaching me within an inch of my life, box color (yes, hair suicide) and damage (bald spots) from extensions. I also suffer from psoriasis which really hinders hair growth & health in general. Needless 2 say, I was a hot mess express, destination David! He started with using the right color for my hair type...ie. not using harsh bleach on my baby fine hair. He used Laid Brand products (obviously) and I instantly fell in LOVE with 'Rockin Multi Purpose Oil! The scent alone had me hooked, but my ends were SOFT for the first time in forever! He spritzed me up with Straight 2 Kinky pre-blow dry & the oil & I was astounded at how healthy my hair looked! Fast forward a few years, and about a dozen or so visits to my hair guru, my hair is so healthy that David was able to bring my curls back to life with the use of Fill Me Up texture spray! Who knew I could have my beach waves back that I literally hadn't seen in at least 15 years?!? My hair hasn't been this long since before I started coloring it when I was 23 (14 years ago)....and it just keeps growing! I can't thank you enough, David, for making me feel beautiful again, saving me from years of hair hell & condemning me to a life of extensions for length! I'm telling you, people, these products & his knowledge are incredible! Love you David, my hair thanks you!!!!

Last Tuesday David did a Keratin Straightening Service for me. He has been trying very patiently to get me to do one for years. I have wavy hair, which usually frizzes out with the humidity. My usual process has been wash/condition, put on product and blow dry, put on more product and flat iron, and then finish off with more product. It was 3 different products that I was using, and the results were temporary. I could leave the house and my hair would already start to curl and frizz. Even if David flat ironed it, by the end of the day the hair would win. Last night I washed/conditioned and then used a leave in conditioner (LAID brand, of course)...blew my hair dry and then drove to Orlando to see Slash at Hard Rock Live. My hair was straight when I left the house...we drove through rain, it was drizzling slightly as we walked through City Walk, we were in a concert hall for 4 hours, we drove home...and my hair looked exactly the same as when I left...no frizz, still straight...and it's so soft and shiney. I am really loving this treatment. I know you said I would David, and you were right. You DO rock ;) Love you! Connie

He’s colored my hair making me a light or dark brunette, given me highlights, golden blondes to platinum blonde and most recently Ruby Red! He consistently cut my spiral curly hair in a way that allowed my curls to bounce and come alive.
