I knew I wanted to be a hairstylist from the time I was fourteen years old. I had finally convinced my mom to let me get highlights done at one of the best salons in Connecticut. I walked in, looked around at all of the beautiful, stylish hairdressers, and thought to myself, “I want to be just like these people”. After my visit was over, I was in awe of the feeling I left with that day. My hairstylist never treated me like I was a teenager. She took the time to get to know me, listen to my struggles and create a relationship with me. She didn’t just do my hair, she made me feel special. From that moment forward, my determination to become a hairstylist morphed into so much more than just wanting to hang out with fun hairdressers and look trendy and cool. I wanted to give others the same experience I had when I left my salon. Not only did my hair look fabulous, but I felt so amazing and empowered on the inside. I was addicted to the experience I had from going into that salon and could not wait for the day I could do that for someone else.
For me, being a hairstylist is about so much more then transforming someone’s hair. It is about listening, helping and inspiring my guests to feel great. It’s about building lasting relationships, while consistently working on my craft to be the best hairdresser I possibly can.
I have been working as a hairstylist for 7 years, beginning first in South Florida before moving to Atlanta in 2014. I have spent the past 5 years training, educating and practicing my passion at a prestigious salon in Buckhead. I specialize in the French Balayage technique, French haircutting, color corrections and extension services. My business is fueled by my desire to help others look and feel their absolute best, and to create a fun and personal experience for each and every guest!
I was previously going by the name of Bridget or Bridgette by my previous employer. I am back to my given name, Emmy Sass.
