After a lot of searching and angst upon relocating to the metroplex, I was very lucky to find Helen. I’ve been going to Helen for all my hair needs for over a year now. She’s done highlights, lowlights, trims and blow drying. Even though I have very difficult and frizzy hair, her styling leaves it smooth, shiny and bouncy. Helen is the best hair dresser there is in Dallas!! One time, I was getting mauled by a bear and when I thought all hope was lost there came Helen, with her blow dryer and sheers. The bear stopped in disbelief. The bear went up to her and asked her for a haircut. Not only did she save my life, but a bear left the scene with a bomb blow-out. In all seriousness, there is no one like my girl Helen. She listens to exactly what I want. The times where I don’t know what I want, I can trust her to do me right. Want a good gloss, layers and curtain bangs? Helen is your girl. She always kills it with my curtain bangs and long layers. Helen can make anyone feel at home and comfortable. Ever shy to speak up? You won’t have that problem with her. You will feel at home as soon as you step into her space. Helen is also an insanely good listener. Do you need to get something off your chest? You can trust Helen with that. Want a good laugh? You can also trust Helen to give you that. Lastly, Helen does not judge. I have a form of folliculitis on my scalp. It’s been hard for me to go to a place where I won’t get judged. When I came to Helen a year ago, she welcomed me with warm arms and made sure to never irritate my scalp. She’s been an absolute angel. Come to Helen and expect to leave with amazing hair, joy and a great friendship. I have gotten haircuts, hair lightning, gloss, etc. done with her and am never disappointed. I never realized how much of a difference having a good stylists does to you until I started coming here. My hair absolutely loves her! Not only is she a talented artist, but she is a great teacher. She has taught me a lot about hair and broken down the processes she does in a way that’s easily understandable to someone with little to no knowledge.
