Upon completing my training at Aveda Institute, I worked to perfect my craft as a hairstylist for 13+ years. I excel in blonding, Precision cut, curly hair and my specialty is balayage. From the extensive education that I received, I have delivered training and classes on the art of balayage's. I strive to provide a comfortable, private, one-on-one experience that promotes the best hair care imaginable.
My goal as a stylist is to not only give you the hair of your dreams, but to educate you about your specific needs.

Where do I even begin with Ms. Lydia? I found her by doing a deep search for someone out there that could handle my curly hair. What a find she has been! I had the same “hairstyle” for what has felt like 10 years. Sometimes with curly hair you get into a rut of “I can’t do much with it”…so you go the path of least resistance. I brought a picture as a guide for Ms. Lydia…fully knowing that just because I like the picture doesn’t mean that my hair will actually cooperate to do what the picture shows. Well, Ms. Lydia spoke to my curls and they listened. She asked me questions on how I style my hair daily, how much time I want to take and what I was hoping to get out of our appointment. She gave me a dry cut to watch how the curls behaved and fell first. I truly appreciate her dedication with watching my curls and seeing what she could do with how they wanted to do it…lol. I am a 42 year old woman and this was the best curly hair cut I have ever received! I personally feel like it makes me look 5-10 years younger. I feel so much better about my appearance and feel fresh and bouncy again. My husband is where it’s at and he has been gushing about it ever since I came home. He keeps saying things like “I can’t believe how much difference the hair cut makes” and “I love this cut” and my personal favorite is the winking in his eye when he says “that hairstyle on you is hot”.
