Growing up in Japan I found I had a passion for hair. My journey with hair continued in Japan where I was able to get my education and hone my cutting and coloring skills for 7 years. The next leg of my journey brought me to New York, where I was able to work at high-end salons and enrich those skills for a new set of clients to add even more diversity of styles and experience for the next 6 years. Specializing in low-maintenance hair colors like Balayage, lived-in color, and personalized highlights, I love working with the unique needs of each client for a cut and customized color that works best for them. Now with over 20 years of experience, I find myself grateful that my occupation affords me the opportunity to connect with many new people, to learn their backgrounds, and help them feel beautiful in a style and color that fits them.
