Brittany Herbst

After leaving a corporate career as a certified public accountant to pursue my dream of becoming a hairstylist, I attended The Aveda Institute in 2009 and then completed an 18 month apprenticeship under the owner of Blake Rose Salon in Columbus, Ohio. I established the same confidence and skills as the other seasoned stylists at the salon and quickly grew my clientele. Ready for a new challenge, in April of 2018 I moved to an independent Sola Salon Suite. 

I have studied under my hair idols Michael Duenas, Michael Shaun Corby and Alexandra Wilson and am committed to continual education to keep up on the most current trends and techniques. As a curly haired girl myself, I'm experienced with cutting and styling techniques for curly hair's unique needs. In addition to being an expert stylist and colorist, I also specialize in Keratin smoothing treatments and am the only Pura Luxe certified stylist in the Sarasota area. I love creating styles and colors that are natural, beautiful and low maintenance.

I combine my perfectionist attention to detail with my belief that a trip to the salon (and life in general) should be fun!
