Thank you for visiting my profile!I have been in the industry for over 25 years and I've had the opportunity to work in some amazing local salons during my career,and while in New York when I lived on the east coast.I love enhancing my client's natural beauty with the right cut,color,and products.My specialty is color and working with corrective color is a welcomed challenge for me!I conduct a through client consultation so the both of us are comfortable with the process whether it's for a cut,color,or highlight.I stay current with all the latest trends and techniques,and go to as many classes as possible.I also enjoy working with brides and wedding parties and creating styles for special events,either in the salon or on site.I hope to hear from you soon,and look forward to making you look and feel.

TEN STARS!! I am one of the people who still gets perms. I had been getting it done with another stylist at another salon, but it just was never a great perm. I decided to give Darlene a try, and it was truly the best decision I think I have ever made when it comes to perming my hair. Darlene is very thorough and takes her time to do every step of the process correctly to ensure the best result. One of the things I learned is that it is very important to take lots of time to rinse the solution out of your hair. Darlene does that, whereas my previous stylist did not... which is probably why my hair would retain a chemical smell for several weeks afterward and my skin would still be burning when I left! That didn't happen this time, and even the next day when I wet down my hair, the smell was pretty mild. Darlene does not skimp on time or materials. She makes sure your hair looks just the way you want it to. For the first time in a long time, I absolutely LOVE my perm! Thank you, Darlene!

I have finally found the blonde specialist I've been looking for. She really knows her stuff. I've been to different hair salons in different states, some better, some worse, but she is hands down the best! She used three different techniques to give me the results I wanted (balayage, teasing, weaving). She did make sure everything is properly saturated to give me the best lift. She "baby-sit" every strand to make sure it's not over- or under-processed. Blonde is tough. It gives me a peace of mind that I have to look no further. Thank you for "babysitting" my hair, Darlene.
