About
With over 20 years in the salon industry, I believe I bring a variety of expertise to the salon chair. I am trained in the British and French Hair Cutting systems, true French Balayage, as well as modern and editorial hair styling. I LOVE all aspects of hair!
The art of hair color has become a true passion for me. I completed a rigorous course in 2014 to become an American Board Certified Hair Colorist. The ABCH is an elite group of hairdressers dedicated to setting a standard of excellence and a high bar of competence and knowledge of hair color and its foundation.
I’ve traveled throughout North America and Europe continually seeking education and knowledge of my craft to further my skills in cutting, color, finishing work and up-styling. I’ve assisted and taken courses with industry greats such as Candy Shaw, Lucie Doughty, Scott Cole, Linda Yodici, Stephanie Kocielski, Mary Cuomo, Alexis Thurston of Pulp Riot and Laura Chihaia (@lalasupdos).
As an Educator at my former salon I created Color 101 and Correctional Color classes that helped our new generation of stylists gain knowledge and confidence in the law of color and formulation. Teaching has always been something that has fed my soul.
I am one of the founding members of the North American Pro Artist Team for Pai Shau. I traveled the U.S. teaching advanced product knowledge, foundations for up-styling, as well as bridal and bridal business classes for the brand.
I love the creative process of editorial photo shoots. I have participated in and been a lead stylist in several collection shoots with legendary photographer Tom Carsons for which my work has been published nationally in print and online.
I believe in being a well-rounded stylist. I believe in amazing customer service. I believe in making people feel special and cared for.
