Hello!
I have been blessed with the unique privilege of turning my passion into a career. Having loved everything about hair from the time I could walk and talk, I always knew I would find myself behind the chair one day! I have been Licensed for 14 years, and have spent much of that time studying and perfecting my craft. My guest's experience is very important to me, as I strive to make their time in my chair comfortable and very relaxing. I love meeting new guests and thoroughly consulting with them to understand their hair goals. I work to strategize a custom hair plan to get you the result you desire when you're in my chair, and at home! I put a lot of effort into staying current with the always changing trends, through attending many continuing education courses and hair shows. I specialize in balayage and ombre' tehniques that give you the perfect pop of color and dimension! I also enjoy special event styling such as Bridal parties and formal events including Prom and Homecoming. I currently use Alfaparf Color products and Kevin Murphy and Alfaparf styling products. Ok let’s talk pandemic hair :) I have an incredibly short haircut, and the last time I had my hair cut by Kalya was in early March 2020. It is now almost June, and the haircut she gave me 10 weeks ago was so perfect and even and wonderful that I am still going strong. It is long, yes, but I am still looking fine on at least 5 video meetings every day. Cannot day enough wonderful things about Kayla and how kind, friendly, and talented she is.... thank you Kayla!

Kayla has been a hair saver! I had fried hair and a colour that turned orange on my roots, after trying over 6 stylists, someone recommended her to me and will never change stylists again, I have been bright red, dark red, purple, brunette, blonde and my hair has been perfect. Recommend 100!

Kayla has been my hair stylist for many years. Before going to her my previous stylist had been lightening my hair to cover the gray. Kayla talked me into going back to my natural color insuring me she could keep my gray covered. She was absolutely right and I began to get compliments immediately after the change. Since that time Kayla has made some other suggestions to change things up a bit. She has experimented with highlights, low lights, and adding a little red tint. I have also had a little splash of purple and some soft pink highlights. It has been fun experimenting but all the while keeping my natural color as the base. She has also recommended conditioning treatments on occasion and my hair always feels and looks better. She asks lots of questions to make sure she understands what I am looking for when asking for a new hair style. I refer others to her all the time. I would highly recommend Kayla!!
