Lori has spent the past 15 years of her career leading as a Senior Educator and Master Stylist at one of Columbus's most well known salons. As an artistic director, she seasoned her talents as a master colorist while studying at the Wella Studio in New York City. She continues to travel abroad to attend the latest trend releases and workshops. Her career is proud to have studied under world renound stylists such as Vivienne MacKinder, Nick Arrojo, and Frederick Fekkai.
Since 2001, Lori has dedicated her career to creating cutting edge, fashion-focused styles for magazines, local faces, along with a loyal clientele whom value her talent and expertise to meake them beautiful. Lori's experience, creative eye, and artistic talent, is well known for her French influenced cutting techniques, thus making her one of Central Ohio's most respected and well known stylists.
Much of her work has been showcased in Boca Raton, South Beach Miami, Atlanta, and New York City, all receiving allocades and admiration along the way. You will find much of her work published in many of the nation's leading hair style magazines, Vogue, W, and Columbus Monthly.
Recently, Lori is proud to announce the grand opening of her Salon Loft, "Shear Serenity." Her career is taking a different direction, so that she can provide her clientele with a more relaxed, intimate, one-on-one enviornment with her clients. Her studio offers more than just your "basic hair cut, " but is rather about creating cutting edge, individualized styles, that are one of a kind. All the while, her clients will feel as if they have escaped to an paradise like atmosphere, that is 100% catered and focused on only them.

I had the balayge by Lori and the color looks great. She uses the Balayage products, so if you're looking for the real-deal, here she is. Balayage is a much, much better alternative to foils. The result is natural-looking and sunkissed (not harsh/bleachy) - think Jennifer Aniston/Gisele. It's the perfect way to add dimension to dark hair without adding stripes. Lori does a great job on cuts as well!

I had been going to a well known mega salon in Columbus but did not get the personal care and it would take 3 to 4 hrs for a color and cut. I transferred to a smaller high end salon in the Short North but was just never pleased with the color or cut but kept going back thinking things would be different the next time. My new Hair Extensions - SO worth it! I have thin hair and have been trying to grow it out (with Lori's help) for over a year now. My hair has improved and has gotten long, with the help of Lori, but now just wanted thicker hair (more of it)! Lori then told me about hair extensions which I knew ONLY what I've seen/heard about on TV. Let's face it, who doesnt have hair extensions in Hollywood? I knew they were pricey, but I also knew how gorgeous and thick your hair can be with them. I spoke with Lori and I have to admit, I was very scared to get them. I didnt know if they would be too much for me to take care of, would they be a total mess? AND...would I be wasting my money (gulp)? Lori assured me that I would absolutely love them, they wouldn't ruin my hair and I will have thick beautiful hair when all said and done. I finally got off the fence and had Lori put them in for me and they are absolutely the BEST decision I have made in a LONG time. They are very easy to take care of, they are SO soft and they make my hair FULL and slightly longer (I didnt want too much length). Everyone has commented on how beautiful my hair looks, and my style stays all day/night! Lori did such a wonderufl job! My extensions match my hair color perfectly! Lori is very patient, and has always made sure her work is absolutely perfect...and it really shows!!....and yes, the price is SO worth it! If you are thinking about getting hair extensions, definitely see Lori!
