Welcome to The Pretty Parlour.

I have been a Hair Stylist and Color Specialist for 9 years and I love what I do. After graduating from the Aveda Institute I worked at a great Aveda Salon where I honed in on hair color theory and precision cuts. I specialize in highlights, balayage, long and pixie cuts, Keratin treatments, blow-dry styling, Men’s and kids cuts.

My top priority is for you to be comfortable in my chair and love your hair when you leave. I value the importance of healthy and strong hair and promise to always put the integrity of your hair first. I am also very passionate about teaching you how to love your hair with the right products and proper styling.

Melissa works magic! I came in to see her after experimenting with bleach on my hair and she fixed me right up. She was able to color correct my hair with low lights, highlights, and a toner. My bleaching was uneven and orange and she managed to clean it up perfectly. I came to her a complete mess and left looking fabulous. She is skilled in explaining the effect of certain processes and products on your hair to ensure it can remain as healthy as possible.
