Welcome, my name is Nirvana and I am the owner of So Chic Studio! I am a multicultural stylist who is deeply passionate about my career in the beauty industry. My journey started a little over three years ago when I started cosmetology school at Aveda institute in Washington DC.  As I learned more about my craft and the amazing work I can do behind the chair, the more I fell in love with doing hair and making clients happy. Through years of education and training, next to some of the best mentors I finally decided I wanted to venture out on my own. I have worked with amazing hair and color lines such as Aveda, Goldwell, L’Oréal, Redken and much more.  As a hairstylist, I continue to educate myself by attending classes and seminars to keep my skills up to date as a well-rounded stylist in the industry. 

As a hairstylist, I often get asked “What is your favorite thing to do behind the chair? “I know my answer may be very cliché, but I thoroughly enjoy everything I do behind chair. Every client is different but the end results and satisfaction on their face when I am finished with a service will never get old to me. I take pride in being a diverse stylist, through the years of school and working in the salon I have been able to work with all different textures of hair!


Here at So Chic Studio, I aim to give my clients a luxury experience while educating them on the best ways of keeping their hair healthy and happy! I want clients to feel taken care of while they are in my chair by providing quality service to enhance or maintain their hair. I am excited to meet new clients and create wonderful experiences here at So Chic Studio located on Rockville Pike. 

 Hours Of Operation :

Tuesday: 10am - 6pm

Wednesday: 10am - 6pm

Thursday: 11am - 7pm

Friday: 9am - 5pm

Saturday: 7am - 3pm


Late policy:  Here at So Chic Studio we have a 10-minute grace period, please inform us a head of time if you are going to be late via phone prior to booked time of your appointment. If you are running more than 10 minutes late, your appointment will be rescheduled or delayed to a later time depending on the following appointments for that day.


Cancellation policy: Guest will have 48 hours to reschedule their appointment within one week of the original appointment date. Failure to provide minimum notice within 48 hours or no-show, So Chic Studio reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee up to 100% of the total cost of your scheduled appointment.


No Show and No Calls will result in being unable to schedule future appointments with me.


 Consultations: To ensure we can provide a luxury experience for guest a consultation is required for all major color services (balayage, highlights, vivid colors, all over color) and microlink extensions. During the consultation we will go into more depth of your hair goals, your current hair state/hair history, maintenance, and home regimen.


Customer Dissatisfaction Policy: Please Understand that we have a 24-hour dissatisfaction policy in place here at So Chic Studio. You have 24-hours from your booked appointment to express any dissatisfaction with your service once this has been communicated, a correction appointment will be scheduled. Anything expressed outside of that time frame will still be acknowledged, however any corrections made will be subjected to full salon fees.


Payments:  Prices are subject to change due to hair density and length.

Here at So Studio Chic Studio we accept cash and credit card payments. 


Health Policy: Here So chic Studio we value your health and wellness. If you are feeling sick or have been potential exposed COVID-19, we ask that you reschedule your appointment to a later date. Please review the COVID policy and procedures on our booking website for our building at Salon


By booking here at So Chic Studio you agree and understand all the policies and procedures above are set in place.

Please note that we reserve the right to refuse service to any guest who are not willing to abide by these policies.
