Petra began her career in Frankfurt Germany in 1984 where she apprenticed with Gert Bloeser for three years. A regular participant in regional hair competitions, Petra continued her training at Wella and Goldwell seminars. Having moved to the United States in 1991, Petra worked first at Alexander de Paris, and then later at Salon Nordine before finally opening her own Hair Salon, Salon Fusion. While at Alexander de Paris, Petra attended and contributed to some of New York's largest and most prominent hair conventions. She continues to update her training at Wella and Goldwell seminars.

Petra enjoys the art of women's hair cutting and styling, she's also very accomplished at men's hair cutting and grooming. She enjoys helping her guests find new looks,always making sure they are on trend. She takes delight in the craftsmanship of clipper cutting, Razor Hair Cutting and Vidal Sassoon precision cutting.

Petra is also skilled in the art of hair color. Her continued training with Wella and Goldwell has given her the techniques for the very latest trends, such as; Balayage, Ombre, Color Melting and Highlighting techniques.
