Rudy Rodriguez

 I was born in Havana, Cuba. At the age of seventeen, I immigrated to the United States for a chance at freedom and a better life. I worked odd jobs while attending a language school to learn English and then attended a cosmetology academy where I fostered my dream to become a hairstylist. Over the past two decades, I have had the opportunity to work at very elite salons in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Washington, D.C.  I've had the opportunity to style for well-known celebrities and politicians.  I am currently located in Fort Lauderdale where I offer my services at RJRHairstudio.com.  Of course, there are many challenges that come along with moving to a new country, learning a new language, adapting to a new culture, and learning a new trade. I've always faced and overcame such challenges with great enthusiasm and tenacity.  During my career, I have transformed from a hairstylist to a hair artist, specializing in color, color correction, hair extensions, and hair sculpture.  I am best known for restoring both mens and womens self-confidence after they've had bad experiences.  My unique blow-out and styling techniques create a one-of-a-kind look and lend to a very satisfied clientele base.  Over the next few years, the industry will have to move toward eco-awareness by reducing chemical waste and the use of toxins
