Description: Lactic Peel is a gentle yet effective chemical exfoliation treatment derived from milk, ideal for normal, dry, and sensitive skin types. This peel is designed to hydrate, brighten, smooth, and improve skin texture by promoting natural cell turnover. It is non-layer dependent and has minimal to no downtime, making it an excellent choice for first-time users or clients with delicate skin concerns, including dullness, uneven tone, and early signs of aging. Before Your Peel: All clients must complete a consultation and intake form prior to receiving a chemical peel to assess skin health, sensitivities, and contraindications. Post-Peel Care Instructions: To ensure optimal results and prevent adverse reactions, follow these post-care guidelines carefully: 1. Sunscreen is non-negotiable. Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher daily and reapply as needed. Sun exposure should be minimized for at least 7–10 days post-peel. 2. Keep skin well-moisturized. Use a fragrance-free, hydrating moisturizer regularly to support healing and barrier repair. 3. Change your pillowcases and bed linens after your treatment to avoid bacteria contact with freshly exfoliated skin. 4. Avoid sweating and intense workouts for 24–48 hours, as heat and perspiration can irritate the skin. 5. Do not pick, rub, or exfoliate the skin while it is healing. Let flaking or peeling resolve naturally. 6. Avoid active ingredients such as retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, or scrubs for at least 5–7 days unless otherwise directed. 7. Avoid hot showers, steam rooms, saunas, and waxing in the treated area for at least 48–72 hours. 8. Limit makeup application for the first 24 hours post-peel to allow the skin to breathe. 9. Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water to aid internal healing. By following these steps, you can help maintain a healthy glow and allow the lactic peel to work to its full potential. Your skin deserves consistent care—protect your investment!
