Bodhi Aesthetics

Hi my name is Merari (pronounced like "Ferrari" but with an M) and welcome to Bodhi Aesthetics!

 I was born in Puerto Rico & Spanish is my first language, I grew up in Southern California, and have been in Jacksonville for 8 years now. My passion has always been to help people. I attended UNF where I did my nursing school prerequisites and went on to Chamberlain University's School of Nursing. In the midst of nursing school I decided to follow my passion to help people in a new direction and have the career of my dreams, becoming a licensed aesthetician.

After obtaining my aesthetician's license in early 2020, covid-19 hit and everything closed. I found this as an opportunity to gain as much aesthetics knowledge as possible and submerged myself in books and online courses.

Once businesses opened again, I had the opportunity to cultivate my skills as an aesthetician at a St. John's spa where I specialized in corrective skincare and waxing. During my time there I was able to receive continued education from some of the top skincare brands.

Here at Bodhi Aesthetics I provide completely customized treatments, no two people receive the same treatment. I believe the key components to bring you the best experience possible is to always continue learning, to educate you on your skin and its specific needs, and to use top of the line, science-backed equipment & products.
